The Telecommunications Act is amended by adding the following after section 67: Regulations 67.1 On or before December 31, 2012, the Commission shall, after consultation with consumers, telecommunications service providers, cellular phone manufacturers and other interested parties, make regulations to provide for a universal charger for newly-manufactured cellular phones.
