C-8 CANADA PENSION PLAN 1. The Canada Pension Plan is amended by adding the following after section 66.1: Payment of benefits 66.2 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, any benefits that are required to be paid on a periodic basis under this Act shall be paid on a biweekly basis if the beneficiary submits to the Minister a written request that the benefits be paid on a biweekly basis. R.S., c. O-9 OLD AGE SECURITY ACT 2. The Old Age Security Act is amended by adding the following after section 37: Payment of benefits 37.1 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, any benefits that are required to be paid on a periodic basis under this Act shall be paid on a biweekly basis if the beneficiary submits to the Minister a written request that the benefits be paid on a biweekly basis.
