R.‍S.‍, c. F-27 Food and Drugs Act 2 Subsection 30(1) of the Food and Drugs Act is amended by adding the following after paragraph (b): (b.‍1) respecting the addition on the label of all foods, drugs, cosmetics, devices and therapeutic products of a machine-readable code, such as a Quick Response code, providing prescribed mandatory information found on the label, as well as supplementary product information intended to inform the purchaser or the consumer about the nutritional content, if applicable, and health risks or benefits of the product; Published under authority of the Speaker of the House of Commons
