O-9 Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows: 1 The Old Age Security Act is amended by adding the following after section 12.‍1: Restriction on reduction of supplement 12.‍2 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the amount of a supplement that is payable to a pensioner under this Part shall not be reduced as a result of an increase in the pensioner’s income under the Canada Pension Plan if that increase results solely from the indexation of that pension.
