Available on the House of Commons website at the following address: www.ourcommons.ca 2nd Session, 43rd Parliament, 69-70 Elizabeth II, 2020-2021 HOUSE OF COMMONS OF CANADA BILL C-285 An Act to amend the Pest Control Products Act (glyphosate) Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows: 2002, c. 28 Pest Control Products Act Amendment to the Act 1 Section 6 of the Pest Control Products Act is amended by adding the following after subsection (1): Glyphosate (1.‍1) No person shall manufacture, possess, handle, store, transport, import, distribute or use glyphosate as a pest control product. Transitional Provision Registration cancelled 2 The registration of glyphosate under the Pest Control Products Act is cancelled. Coming into Force One year after royal assent 3 This Act comes into force one year after the day on which it receives royal assent.
