Available on the House of Commons website at the following address: www.ourcommons.ca 2nd Session, 43rd Parliament, 69-70 Elizabeth II, 2020-2021 HOUSE OF COMMONS OF CANADA BILL C-308 An Act to amend the Impact Assessment Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows: 2019, c. 28, s. 1 Impact Assessment Act 1 Section 109 of the Impact Assessment Act is renumbered as subsection 109(1) and is amended by adding the following: Designated physical activity: coal mines (2) A regulation made under subsection (1) must not set out a minimum coal production capacity limit in respect of the construction, operation, decommissioning and abandonment of a new coal mine that is designated a physical activity under paragraph (1)‍(b).
