Bill C-287: An Act to amend the Pest Control Products Act (glyphosate)

2002, c. 28 Pest Control Products Act Amendment to the Act 1 Section 6 of the Pest Control Products Act is amended by adding the following after subsection (1): Glyphosate (1.1) No person shall manufacture, possess, handle, store, transport, import, distribute or use glyphosate as a pest control product. Transitional Provision Registration cancelled 2 The registration of products containing glyphosate under the Pest Control Products Act is cancelled. Coming into Force First anniversary 3 Section 1 comes into force on the first anniversary of the day on which this Act receives royal assent.
