Petition to the Government of Canada

Whereas:

Public confidence in federal leadership is essential to the effective functioning of Canada’s democratic institutions;

Many Canadians have expressed concerns regarding transparency, accountability, and decision-making at the highest levels of federal leadership; and

Recent developments in federal leadership, including the role and influence of Prime Minister Mark Carney, have raised questions among Canadians about governance and public trust.

We, the undersigned,residents and citizens of Canada, call upon theGovernment of Canadato take immediate and meaningful action to restore public trust and confidence in federal leadership as we are concerned about federal leadership, accountability, and transparency in government, including pursuing appropriate democratic processes that allow Canadians to express their confidence in the current government.
