Introduction and First Reading of Bills

Bill 16 — Supply Act, 2025–2026

I move that Bill 16 be introduced and read a first time now. This supply bill is introduced to authorize funding for the operation of government programs for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The House has already received, taken as read and agreed to the reports of resolutions from the Committee of Supply after consideration of the main estimates. In addition, the House has resolved that there be granted from and out of the consolidated revenue fund the necessary funds towards defraying the charges, expenses and disbursements of the public service of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. It is the intention of the government to proceed with all stages of the supply bill this day.
